So much great food to experience yet so much to navigate with reservations and dining. Share your favorites, least favorite and any and all tips you may have!

We are a family of 9 and we’ve traveled to WDW many times with little kids. Under 3 and they are considered friends of Mickey, meaning, on the Disney Dining Plan, they don’t get meals to use. Because of this you can share with them or buy them meals of their own. Portions are usually big enough to share in most cases. However, buffets are your friend. So many good ones to choose from, for Breakfast we love Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, and for dinner we love Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios and the Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. The other great thing about buffets is they are usually character dining experiences so the kids can meet their favorite Disney characters at dinner! Have your phone camera and autograph books ready!

If you are on the dining plan, snacks often go unused so don’t be afraid to use those which cover almost any food item less han $5 (items are clearly marked). Also, a quick service meal is a quick service meal. They don’t track adult vs kids meal for these, so you can often buy one adult meal and share it with 2 or 3 kids. This way you can stretch your quick service credits farther. Also, at some hotels, 2 quick service credits gets you a whole large pizza which easily feeds 4 – 5 kids. They make sure people on the dining plan don’t go hungry, just make your reservations early, and if you don’t get one you want, always always always check back later.
